Little Kokanee Redfish

CGC TKN VHMA RAT

By using Rocky for our first litter, we expect that our puppies will be versatile, confident, and eager to please. With Rocky’s experience as a working dog, we hope that if potential puppy owners wish to participate in herding for sport or use the dog for their own ranch use, the job will come naturally and be easy for them to learn. Both Rocky and Kokanee have participated in agility and they both show potential. They have a high drive for sports and learning so we expect the same for their puppies.

These puppies will come raised on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Early Scent Introduction (ESI), and Puppy Culture. They will be exposed to new sights, sounds, smells, and textures while they are in our home. Puppies will be on a deworming schedule and have their first vaccinations and a health clearance from a veterinarian before going to their new homes. All of our puppies will keep their tails. We expect to have red merle, blue merle, red tri, and black tri-colored puppies. No matter the gender, coat color, or eye color, all of our puppies will be priced the same. We will help new owners find their puppy when they are a few weeks old. As puppies develop their personalities, it will make it easier to match puppies to their home instead of a family choosing a puppy at only a few days old based on their coat pattern.

Puppy pricing

The total price for a puppy from River Run Australian Shepherds is $2,000. If you are interested in a puppy, please fill out your name and email below so that we can send you a puppy application! After we receive your application we will contact you to let you know if the application has been accepted or denied. Over time we would love to get to know you better so that when the puppies are a few weeks old, we can discuss which puppies would be a good fit for your family! After your puppy has been matched to your family, we ask for a $500 holding fee. The puppies will be ready to go home at eight weeks old and we ask that the remaining $1,500 be paid in full prior to picking up your puppy. You will not be allowed to pick up your puppy until we have received the complete payment. In addition to this, if at any time you can no longer keep your puppy, they are to be returned to the breeder no matter what their age is. We do not want any of our puppies to end up in a puppy mill, shelter, rescue, hoarder or abusive situation, or anything related to this list. We are happy to reevaluate the puppy or dog to find them another home. Puppy contracts upon time of the first deposit and before pickup will be shared with puppy buyers.

If you are interested in filling out a puppy application, please complete the request below so that we can send you the form as soon as possible.

Puppy Application Request

If you are interested in a puppy, we ask that you complete the application in complete honesty. Do not assume that because you don’t have a fenced yard it will automatically lead us to deny your application. We are happy to work with you and we will be sure to reach out if we have any questions or concerns.

We are located in central Idaho and are able to arrange puppy pick-ups in the Boise, Sun Valley, and Twin Falls areas. Please reach out if you need to meet in a different area so that we can discuss possibly making other arrangements.

2024 Puppies

Puppies were born on November 13th in the very early morning hours. Kokanee did an incredible job birthing her first litter and we are so happy they are here!

Peak

Blue Merle Male

Peak is our biggest puppy! He is a gentle giant and isn’t as outspoken as some of the other pups. Peak loves to play, tug, and wrestle but a good soft squeaky toy will also keep him entertained! Peak is an even-tempered puppy and is very loving. We are happy to say that Peak has found his new home!

Alpine

Blue Merle Male

Alpine is our most rambunctious of the litter! He is confident and has loads of energy! He will do well with a family that has experience with active breed dogs or with someone committed to meeting his physical and mental needs. Alpine would do well as a running or hiking companion or with an individual ready to introduce him to dog sports! At this time, Alpine has found his home!

Flora

Blue Merle Female

Flora is our pick of the litter! She is confident, curious, and easily settles down after playtime. We are keeping Flora “on hold” at this time as we are planning to keep her as a future breeding prospect. We are still accepting inquiries about Flora for a potential co-ownership home too.

Fauna

Blue Merle Female

Fauna has a calmer demeanor than some of her litter mates, settles nicely, and loves to give kisses and be held. She is also a big fan of the snow and could play outside all day if we let her! Fauna is more gentle and has a sweet disposition, but she also enjoys a good tousle with the other puppies when the time calls for it. Fauna is a confident, playful, and bouncy puppy. Fauna has found her forever home!

Ember

Black Tri Female

Ember is still our littlest puppy, but she has a big personality to make up for it! She is confident, feisty, and affectionate. Ember enjoys playing with her toys and rough housing with her littermates. She is a big fan of playing in the snow and loves to play with Kokanee too! With her lovely temperament, Ember would make a great companion for a first-time Australian Shepherd owner. At this time, Ember has found her home!

Aspen

Red Merle Female

Aspen is one of our more rambunctious pups, she enjoys hiding under the couch and barking at the other puppies as a form of play! She is also one of the puppies that enjoys playing in the snow. Overall, Aspen has a sweet personality but still possesses a headstrong nature. She exudes confidence and has a fiery personality. Aspen has found her new home!
